Why HSE training?


In the current construction industry health safety and environmental trainings take part a vital to ensure the well-being of people, environment protection and comply with rules and regulations of governing parties. Basically, it covers various aspects such as,

  • Safety protocols: Educating and training on using mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE), safety handling of tools equipment and machinery, working at heights & preventing fallings, managing electrical hazards and working in confined spaces etc.
  • Health practices: Educate the people regarding the occupational health hazards and risks, handling hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals in-order-to avoid respiratory issues and repeating injuries.
  • Emergency response: Preparing workers for responding to accidents, fire emergency and other emergency rescue process on construction sites by arranging required drills and providing necessary guiding.
  • Environmental awareness: Understanding the impact of various construction activities to the environment, solid waste management, and waste chemical dispose, preventing soil air and water pollution and sustainable construction practices.
  • Risk assessment and management: Educating people to identify potential hazards on various activities, assess the level of risks and possible control measure to be taken to mitigate risks. 
  • Regulatory compliance: Training to comply with governing local, national and international health safety and environmental regulations relate to construction field.
  • Communication and reporting: Emphasizing the importance of proper communication among the employees, reporting accident & incidents or hazards promptly and maintaining appropriate documentation.

Training methods can vary, including classroom sessions, on-site demonstrations, simulations, e-learning modules and also hands on exercises. It is essential to make sure that these practices have continuous improvement and keep update to ensure a safe and environmentally responsible construction environment always.

    Since the construction is critical industry which directly impacts on the physical health and safety, it is important to give safety training for each and everyone.As such, it is vital that anyone working on a construction site has sufficient training to understand the risks they face. In addition, putting the measures in place to protect themselves and others from harm is a vital part of the process.
